Excel beyond limits, Learn beyond the classroom

A Holistic Education Designed For an Ever-evolving World

My teaching philosophy centers on experiential learning. There is wisdom to be gained by simply doing. An education that serves students both inside and outside the classroom works to transform them into self-directed learners—ready to face whatever challenges brought on by an ever-changing society.

And so, I create curriculum pathways that prepare students to achieve whatever dreams they pursue.

Student Testimonials

My experience with Earl Teacher has been incredibly transformative for me as both an English student and as an individual.

Initially, I lacked confidence in both my writing process and the work I produced in English class. Earl Teacher took me back to basics, providing clear, foundational lessons that rebuilt my skills from the ground up. He often shared examples from his own work and that of other students, allowing me to emulate specific successful techniques in my writing.

With his years of expertise, Earl guided me thoughtfully, helping me emerge from my shell. He encouraged me to delve deeper into subjects, to embrace new ideas and perspectives, and to engage more openly in discussions.

Earl's teaching methods might seem unconventional—far from typical classroom lectures with whiteboard explanations. However, as our deep conversations progressed, I came to greatly appreciate his approach. He emphasized the importance of connection and dialogue, which has made me much less apprehensive about sharing my ideas.

What sets Earl Teacher apart is his rich, diverse background. He's not just a teacher; he's also a basketball player, volunteer, writer, and storyteller. Each aspect of his life colors his teaching, making his lessons vibrant and relatable. His multifaceted identity resonates deeply, reminding us that we're all uniquely shaped by our experiences.

Lastly, during the daunting college essay phase of my senior year, Earl Teacher was refreshingly honest. He didn't sugarcoat his feedback, directly pointing out parts of my essays that didn’t represent me well or needed improvement. Encouraged by his straightforward advice to revise and enhance specific sections, I crafted essays that were not only inspiring but also genuinely reflective of who I am—essays I’m proud of to this day.

I’m currently a student at Washington University in St. Louis (WashU). This is a school that I’ve only dreamed of attending, but it became a reality with Earl Park as my tutor.

Earl’s tutoring method is rare. Rather than telling students to use advanced words and meet the cultural norm of what everyone thinks is “good writing”, he guides them through the writing process and teaches them how to write in their style. He wants their writing to be unique and mean something to them.

Once I learned how to truly write, I saw improvement immediately. My AP Lit essay scores went from only 3 / 5 to consistent 5 / 5, and sometimes even 6 / 5 with the sophistication point. I was confident in my writing and didn’t have to waste time thinking about how I was going to go about writing my papers.

Earl’s tutoring went beyond mere essay help. He reads so much (nearly addicted) that he has a deep understanding of any topic. This allowed him to give me in-depth mini-lessons regarding the subject I wanted to write about. These mini-lessons enriched my perspectives and allowed me to understand the world in a way I hadn’t before. Implementing these lessons, my writing went from having information that’s common knowledge to details that could only be found through hours of research.

Earl equipped me with knowledge that I will carry forward into college and I am forever grateful for that. His dedication to his students is evident in his personalized approach and genuine interest in their success. I wholeheartedly recommend Earl Park to anyone seeking to enhance their academic writing and gain valuable insights into society.
